Garrett is an Austin native who began his career at Oxford in the spring of 2009. He currently is the Director of Market Research and is responsible for tracking over 1,500 commercial buildings in the greater Austin area. Garrett oversees the research department and continues to build on the statistical market data the Oxford team has assembled since the early 80’s. Garrett is responsible for analyzing the Austin commercial real estate market by conducting quarterly reports and communicating findings related to absorption, new and proposed developments, vacancy changes and rental rate variances to the local media and Oxford brokerage team. As media liaison for Oxford Commercial Garrett contributes commentary to the Austin Business Journal, Austin American Statesman, Real Estate Forum, Globe Street and Red News.
