Shelly currently serves as the Controller for Oxford Commercial. She joined Oxford in September 2007 as the Accounting Manager. Prior to joining Oxford, Shelly worked for several years as the Controller of an Austin based real estate company comprised of a residential real estate brokerage company, a title company, surveying company and property management company.

Before moving into the real estate industry, Shelly was an Account Manager for a venture capital firm in Houston. There she performed due diligence and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of emerging companies to aid them in the establishment of business models, procedures and practices necessary to attract investors and establish banking relationships. Shelly also worked in the non-profit sector as Operating Accountant for The Museum of Fine Arts Houston and The I Have a Dream Foundation in Fort Worth.

Originally from Upstate New York, Shelly earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego. She is proud to have called Austin, Texas her home for over 15 years.

As a community volunteer, Shelly is involved with the Meals on Wheels program. She participates on the Giving Committee at Oxford Commercial in support of The Storehouse which is a Christian based food pantry. Shelly’s favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon is walking the trails of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center or biking on the Veloway with her husband and two sons.
