PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Brent Powdrill began his career as the Director of Market Research at Oxford Commercial. As Research Director Brent was responsible for the oversight of the department, which included conducting quarterly surveys of the Austin Office and Industrial Markets and acting as the media liaison for the firm. Brent contributed commentary to publications including the Austin Business Journal, Austin American Statesman, Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt.com and the Red News.
Brent transitioned into brokerage in 2009 as an office leasing associate. His experience as Research Director has given him a valuable understanding of the office and industrial product in Austin, Texas. The tracking of vacancies, new and planned construction, rental rates and absorption has given him in-depth market knowledge along with the ability to advise and negotiate the best deals for his clients on their real estate needs.
