PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Denise Kindred, Office Leasing Associate, has more than 30 years of business experience with 26 years concentrated in the real estate industry and the last 11 focused on Commercial Real Estate in Austin. Denise completed the CI-101, Financial Analysis for Commercial Real Estate, working towards a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Denise utilizes her real estate background and relevant business experience to find innovative methods for servicing the client.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Current assignments include leasing a LEED Gold medical/office building in Far Northwest Austin, the sale of medical/office condominiums in Cedar Park and various other projects for lease or for sale throughout Austin, Round Rock and Cedar Park.
Past assignments include the leasing of the 109 acre mixed-use development, The Terrace, in Southwest Austin. During her tenure at The Terrace, she, along with her partners, Spencer Hayes and Mark Greiner leased approximately 750,000 square feet. The most notable transactions were Cirrus Logic for 192,000 square feet, Vinson & Elkins for 135,000 square feet and the Linebarger Law Firm for 50,000 square feet. Denise also worked as part of a three partner team leasing an 800,000 square foot portfolio for CommonWealth REIT primarily located in Northwest Austin.
Another past success story with partner Mark Greiner, is the 100% leasing of the building located at 305 Huntland Drive. The challenging commercial real estate market and years of space sitting unleased made this a monumental achievement and produced a very happy client in the Association of Texas and Professional Educators.
In 2008, Denise and her partners received the Oxford Big Deal of the Year award for the sale of a 220,000 square foot building in downtown Austin to Silicon Laboratories for their world headquarters.
Prior to joining Oxford Commercial in 2000, Denise was a licensed agent in Alabama and worked in the real estate industry and prior to beginning her real estate career she worked many years in the mortgage banking business.
