Garrett is a native of Austin who began his career at Oxford Commercial in the spring of 2009 as the Director of Market Research. This position required him to track over 1,500 commercial buildings in the greater Austin area, analyze the Austin commercial real estate market by completing quarterly surveys and report trends and market conditions to the press. As media liaison for Oxford Commercial, Garrett contributed commentary to the Austin Business Journal, Austin American Statesman, Real Estate Forum, Community Impact Newspaper, Globe Street and Red News.
Garrett shifted into brokerage in 2011 and now specializes in representing tenants in office and industrial real estate transactions. Being born and raised in Austin and having overseen Oxford Commercial’s Research Department equips Garrett with unique knowledge of the market and the ability to best serve his clients’ needs.
